Looking Into Existing Logo's - Personally I think logo's where the main focus is an image or an icon, sometimes presented with little text perhaps underneath are the most effective in not just the media industry, but in any. The image in a logo is most important, and also effective because it remains memorable, and is the reason people recognise brands, for instance, this logo in particular, because the imagery is simple yet memorable, and while it is presented with little text, we know who they are and what we can infer from them. In my opinion, something all of these recognisable logo's have in common is how simple they all are - just a singular image, with only a small amount, if any, of text stating the rands name. The logo's that do include text, only include a small amount, therefore keeping it simple yet still remaining very memorable, and in this case, known all around the world.
